Special Air Wing - Flight Simulator App Reviews

So far all you have available is one plane and one area to fly around in. Other than that you have to buy other places. When I fly it doesnt feel like there is any weight to the plane. I see where this game is going though.

Its not as realistic as I prefer, but if you want something with combat aspects and helicopters, then this isnt a bad choice. The add ons for extra fuel or radar jamming gear via IAP are a bit of a stretch. Graphics arent bad and overall pretty average. No cockpits or at least not anything that resembles actual aircraft being flown. Its kind of fun to fly a helo and shoot at the ground or fly a fighter and shoot at other AI aircraft around. The interface is a little wonky, but survivable. Bottom line its a buck. It is better than other combat styled sims so sure why not.

This Sim has an Osprey that is Awesome I hope to look forward to future Aircraft and maps this simulator has brought me to tears a sim that has perfection I knew this simulator is getting better and it is I hope to see good features and updates this Hard work you spent was actually worth every penny a sim that shows respect to some people In Aviation I love the Aircraft models and maps you even have lots of options to choose from lots of good choices in Free Flight I love it please download

Its a good game but if youre gonna charge us to get the game, you could at least make more jets and weapons available without having to buy them

I love this game Im in the military and ospreys fly over all the time looks and sounds are spot on. its got all anyone could want from a flying sim from for their mobile device the graphics, flight physics, and selection of aircraft, love the app so far and cannot wait to see what is presented in future application updates

Look its not the content that this game was/is lacking... its the flight physics. This game still feels like a $.99 flight sim so if you want me to spend $4.99 on 1 new plane, you better make the flight feel like its worth that much. Im just not enticed to buy a new aircraft when i have a pretty good idea its going have that "cheap" feel to it. If the next update includes work done on flight physics I guarantee more people will buy the in-game content

They charge you for the game... Then they make it to where you have to purchase things inside the app. But by far the most annoying thing is, that the controls are extremely sensitive and I have the 6+ and it will not calibrate. Bought the app for $0.99 then I bought the unlock for the airplanes $4.99 by far the biggest waste of my money yet. Its companies like this that should be out of business. I wish I could get a full refund.

This game is still one of my favorite games on my phone. And what my absolute favorite thing about this game is not the game itself but the community of the game. Everyone is super helpful and easy to talk to and are always interacting with one another. Always suggesting new ideas. Its fun

Seriously one of the best sims Ive seen on the App Store, the amount of realistic graphics and capabilities is quite astounding. Seriously a good game

This flight sim is fun! I enjoy playing flight sims and have downloaded a few from the App Store. This sim is clearly my favorite. It has authentic plane details and fun maps. With continuous improvements being made, eventually this will eclipse all flight sims in the App Store.

I first started using Special Air Wing (SAW) when it was in its infancy & have seen it improve exponentially ever since. The company & particulary its CEO (yes I said it) truly stand behind this product. It shows in the CEOs direct engagement with users on a daily basis, constant improvements to the sim & the company truly valuing the feedback of its users. A great sim isnt built overnight but through work & dedication. SAW exemplifies that. The CEO helped designed some of the most advanced professional simulators in the world. Yes Im talking the ones that real pilots use. Simception has made it a mission to bring as much of that quality to mobile devices and it shows. From advanced aircraft animations to the V-22 Osprey there are things going on with this sim that cant be found in any other mobile product. What is also evident is the enormous following of users that this company & SAW has. Go on Facebook & see for yourself. This following didnt just happen: people respect this company & its CEO because he truly cares about his product & users. No sim is perfect but a great sim is constantly improved and exemplifies the efforts of its developer. Check out this sim & see for yourself if you havent already!

Ever since I downloaded this game I have had no regrets! No detail has been spared. The developer is working on improvements daily as well. Its never long before there is something new and improved to experience. The quality far exceeds other mobile flight simulators. Not to mention the support from the Facebook app includes input from the creator himself! Stop waiting and just download it! Trust me you wont want to put it down.

If you love flight sims this is definitely one to add to your collection! Out of all them on my iPad this is the one I use the most! So much fun and realistic!!

Sorry but Infinity Flight is way better, not worthed.

Just wish maybe the cost was adjusted to include more things opposed to having to purchase so many things. Also wish there were some bonus content of items for completing missions. All in all a very sick and addictive game. Cant wait for more content to come out. Great game guys.
